Dr. Shelley's Famous Garlic Soup

Feel a cold coming on? Nip it in the bud with this secret defense.


To Make: Start with 6-8 cups of water in a large soup pot. Throw in all the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 15 - 20 minutes. Have 3 bowls of soup daily for 2-3 days depending on your symptoms. You may want to brush your teeth more often during this period!!!
6 - 8 cups of water
3 heaping teaspoons of fresh crushed garlic (crushed garlic in a jar, OK)
3 boullion cubes
1 bag frozen veggies of your choice
1 teaspoon black pepper
hot sauce to your tolerance (the hotter the better for your cold/flu)
juce of one lime (fresh squeezed)
