"Our son Jack is the light of our lives. His first few months of life are sort of a blur. There was a lot of crying, which the doctor called “colic”. His body was covered with rashes, which we were told was normal baby dermatitis. He never slept, none of us did! He had a contact reaction from peanut butter, allergy testing showed severe allergies to many foods that he was ingesting through nursing. As he was growing, Jack’s discomfort became clear. He was prescribed many types of hydrocortisones, oral antihistamines and antibiotics for several skin infections. Jack’s immune system was a mess. After a bout with pneumonia, Jack was put on an inhaler for “asthma”. We were loading this poor baby with so many medications, but nothing seemed to get better. My husband is a firefighter. Doc Shelley generously gives her time to them. She asked my husband to see Jack. It was the best move we could have made for him. We put our faith in her as she worked with him and we took him off of all medications. On here own time she would search for natural skin care products and supplements. She has a wealth of knowledge on how the body (skin, immune system, all of it) works. Here adjustments are fun for Jack. I am often amazed at how quickly some adjustments she makes clears some common problems (runny nose, teething issues).
Today, Jack is a healthy, energetic, happy, comfortable toddler. His skin is clear, his immune system is strong, and he has recently tested negative to several food allergies. We are so very grateful for Doc Shelley for taking such good care of our family, and for caring so much.
