"Our son Jack is the light of our lives. His first few months of life are sort of a blur. There was a lot of crying, which the doctor called “colic”. His body was covered with rashes, which we were told was normal baby dermatitis. He never slept, none of us did! He had a contact reaction from peanut butter, allergy testing showed severe allergies to many foods that he was ingesting through nursing. As he was growing, Jack’s discomfort became clear. He was prescribed many types of hydrocortisones, oral antihistamines and antibiotics for several skin infections. Jack’s immune system was a mess. After a bout with pneumonia, Jack was put on an inhaler for “asthma”. We were loading this poor baby with so many medications, but nothing seemed to get better. My husband is a firefighter. Doc Shelley generously gives her time to them. She asked my husband to see Jack. It was the best move we could have made for him. ~ Betsy Hennermann (Full text)

"Hi, My name is Millie Pinard. If you are having trouble with your back, Shelley Wilton is the Chiropractor to see. A year ago, I could hardly stand up straight, walking was painful and I couldn’t drive my car. I consider myself a “miracle lady” I now can walk, and drive. I am also well enough that I got a little dog to care for and keep me company. I have regained my sense of freedom. Foxy and I thank you very much Dr. Shelley. "

"Last spring, I reconnected with an old friend and started biking with her and a couple of other women. Little did I know how much my life would change by this......" ~ Mary Yarrows (Full text)
"Looking back at the past year, I am still amazed at all of the changes I’ve made. I was overweight, tired, stressed and eating unhealthy. In the beginning I couldn’t even run 2 minutes at a time! I started by finding a personal trainer. Annie got me walking, worked on body strengthening and then running and I found that I actually liked running." ~ Allison Rebello (Full text)

Dr. Shelley has greatly improved my quality of life. When I first came to see her, I could barely move my neck, and I had consistent tightness and pain in my upper back. Following 3-4 weeks of treatment and a new at-home stretching regime, I have full mobility in my neck, and my upper back is loose and generally pain free. The peace of mind, strength, and mobility I have regained since I started seeing Dr. Shelley helped me complete a difficult rock climb called "The Dangler" that has eluded me for years.

"I first met Dr. Shelley at the Safety Complex (Wellness Fair) in Easthampton during the dedication of the new bike Trail. She immediately struck me as very knowledgeable and professional. I had been suffering for about a month from a pinched nerve in my neck with pain in my shoulder and loss of feeling in my fingers. She suggested I come see her for treatment....... (full text)

"I have been going to Dr. Wilton's office since I was fourteen. I play basketball, run track and work with horses a lot. I came to Dr. Shelley after geting a concussion during basketball. Once, after spraining my ankle during a basketball game, the emergency room doctor told me that I'd be on crutches for a couple of weeks, at least. I went to Dr. Shelley the very next day and got adjusted. She showed me ways to ice my ankle and I was off crutches in two days. The nurse at school couldn't believe it. The exercises she gave me helped make my ankle stronger. Dr. Shelley also taught me that if my body is out of balance it is harder to shoot the ball. She has helped me stay adjusted to be comfortable playing sports. I love going to her because she is very gentle."

She helped my hand get stronger. She made my leg stronger too. It felt good whenever she cracked my neck. She helped me stand up straighter. Dr. Shelley is really funny. She helped me to get healthier by giving me healthier food to eat. She gave me good stretches for my arm. I can do better soccer throw-ins and now I feel more comfortable playing basketball. I love Dr. Shelley and I love to visit her. -Grace Powers Simpson

"I started going to Dr. Shelley because I suffer from migraine headaches and back pains that I developed after I was involved in a car accident. From the first visit she was extremely thorough and I coud tell she was dedicated to her work. Prior to going to Dr. Shelley's practice I had been seeing two other chiropractors. Yet, when Dr. Shelley started doing my "patient history" sheet on the first day, I knew this experience was going to be different. She was able to explain things that the other two chiropractors hadn't event thought of discussing with me. Since I've gone to Wellness Within Chropractic, my migraines have been reduced by more than half and my back pains are subsiding. My younger brother, who had begun to develop asthma and gastric problems began to see Dr. Shelley as well. He also began to see results quickly and his stomach appears to have been remedied. Dr. Shelley is a saint and I and my family thank her, Lynn and Emmett from the bottom of our hearts for all the attention, expertise and love they've given."

| Pain and Free - two single syllable, four letter words that most of us learn the meaning of by kindergarten if not earlier in our lives. Each word in itself denotes something quite the opposite of each other--one pleasant, the other not. “Pain-free”, a common phrase used to denote the absence of hurt, soreness, ache, sting, twinge or anyone of the many more horrible physical feelings we endure over time. These two words put into context denote something very positive, pleasant and encouraging which we all strive for and sometimes feel is unachievable. Anyone clicking onto this website or venturing into Wellness Within Chiropractic is very familiar with pain. You are driven by it to find a less invasive way to obtain relief especially if you have been told medically that nothing can be done to help you short of major surgery. You also don’t want to live your life in a prescription pain killer haze with an addiction to further complicate your life. No one wants to subject themselves to go ‘under the knife’ needlessly; most of all ME. I was a true non-believer in Chiropractic....... (Full Text) |
"I am a patient of Dr. Shelley Wilton as are my two daughters, Cortney and Colleen. I am here to testify to her abilities as our family chiropractor. I started visiting Dr. Shelley for my migraines after my daugher Cortney hurt her foot during basketball season. She was in so much pain she could not walk, never mind run. The trainer of the visiting school told us that Cortney should see a specialist about her foot and to get her a brace. Dr. Shelley came highly recommended by a fellow teammate's mother. Well, after the initial visit I knew this was the doctor for us. She was more forthcoming with information like no other doctor that we have ever visited before had. After that visit I told her of my past experience with chiropractors for my migraines. I was getting these migraines for over sixteen years and now getting them up to five times a week.......
